Nintendo plans to ship 20 million Switch units and 100 million games by the end of its fiscal year

During Nintendo’s recent shareholder meeting in Kyoto, Japan, Tatsumi Kimishima stated that the plan is to ship 20 million Nintendo Switch units and 100 million games by the end of the current fiscal year, which is due to end in March 2019. He also said that all Nintendo employees are focused on this goal, which can easily be achieved with highly-anticipated games like Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu, Let’s Go Eevee and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Nintendo is currently holding its shareholder meeting in Kyoto.

President Kimishima just said the plan is to still ship 20 million Switch units and 100 million games by the end of this fiscal year (end of March 2019).

He said all employees at Nintendo are focused to get there.
