A Pokémon GO Special Weekend event is currently taking place in Korea. It is similar to the one that was recently held in Japan, featuring special spawns of certain letters of Unown, Dratini, Farfetch’d, Chansey, Mareep and other rare Pokémon. The ticket exchange for the Korean event is is taking place today, July 29, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time. It actually started 30 minutes before expected, so fans had more time to participate. Korean sponsors include three major companies in Korea: 7-Eleven, Lotteria and SK telecom. Read on below for information on how to get the ticket from Niantic’s official partners:
- At 7-Eleven, purchase over 4,000KRW and get the code via 7-Eleven app
- At T world, ask store staff and get the QR code ticket
- At Lotteria, purchase T-REX Burger and get the QR code ticket
Thank you for the tips, Fumiyasu Miura.
