During the closing ceremony at the 2018 Pokémon World Championships, The Pokémon Company officially announced the location of the 2019 Pokémon World Championships. Next year’s event is set to take place during August 2019 in Washington, D.C. This year’s event was held in Nashville, Tennessee, and brought competitors from more than 30 different countries across the globe.
