The Pokémon Company has officially opened the doors to its art exhibit called EVs + cafe, which is featuring artwork by Ken Sugimori and eight other talented illustrators. This event is set to run from September 1 to September 9, 2018, at the Roppongi Hills cafe in Tokyo, Japan. Entry is free and doors will be open everyday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. JST. This event coincides with the release of the EVs art book, which also features artwork from the nine illustrators – Ken Sugimori, Tarō Yamamoto, Kunika, BEAMS, Higuchiyuuko, Toshiyuki Fukuda, Kyuuraisu, Kenjiro Sano and Kondouaki. The book also consists of an encyclopedia with information about Eevee and all of its evolutions. The book can be purchased at the exhibit, Pokémon Center locations and Pokémon Center Online from September 10.
An exclusive batch of merchandise is up for sale at the event, including biscuits, a handkerchief, towel, T-shirts, mug, smartphone case, key chain and clear files. Customers can also order nine different soft-serve ice cream cups – each with a flavor inspired by Eevee or one of its eight evolutions.
