Brand-new Fire-type move called Flare Burn revealed for Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee

Game Freak director Junichi Masuda made a special appearance on the latest episode of Pokémon no Uchi Atsumaru?! (Pokénchi). During the new episode, which aired on September 9 at 7 a.m. JST in Japan, Masuda revealed Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee. Masuda gave fans a first look at Surfing Pikachu, which appears in the upcoming duo of Pokémon games. Surfing Pikachu was shown using a brand-new surfing move on a surfboard against a Geodude. Masuda also revealed that Hidden Machines (HMs) have been replaced by special field moves. Pokénchi hosts went into detail showcasing various changes with HMs where you call upon Pikachu or Eevee to summon a special move to cut trees or Surf. These moves do not take up your moveslots. The episode also showcased Eevee using a special Fire-type move called Flare Burn. Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee are set to launch on November 16 for Nintendo Switch.
