HMs have been replaced by special field moves in Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee

Game Freak director Junichi Masuda made a special appearance on the latest episode of Pokémon no Uchi Atsumaru?! (Pokénchi). During the new episode, which aired on September 9 at 7 a.m. JST in Japan, Masuda revealed Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee. Masuda gave fans a first look at Surfing Pikachu, which appears in the upcoming duo of Pokémon games. Surfing Pikachu was shown using the move Surf against a Geodude. Masuda also revealed that Hidden Machines (HMs) have been replaced by special field moves. Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee are set to launch on November 16 for Nintendo Switch.
