Nintendo recently announced that Isabelle from the Animal Crossing series is joining the roster as a playable fighter in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. This brings the tally of unique playable characters – excluding Echo Fighters – to 68. According to the fighting game’s listing on Amazon UK, the total number of playable characters is 71 – which means that three more are to be revealed. Nintendo has yet to comment on this number, but stay tuned for any updates.
