The Pokémon Company confirms Ditto still transforming into new Hex Nut Pokémon Meltan in Pokémon GO

The Pokémon Company, Nintendo and Niantic have officially revealed the new nut head Pokémon, which mysteriously made its debut via Pokémon GO over the past weekend. Its name is Meltan – brand-new Mythical Pokémon that also happens to be a Steel type. Also known as the Hex Nut Pokémon, Meltan will appear in Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee. Meltan has a Ditto-shaped body, single black eye and a squiggly red tail. There’s also a confirmed Shiny version of Meltan. Meltan has a body made from liquid metal, and its shape is very fluid. It uses its liquid arms and legs to corrode metal and absorb it into its own body. Meltan uses the metal in its body to generate electricity. It uses this electricity in two ways—as a source of energy and as an attack that can be fired from its eye. The Pokémon Company has confirmed that Ditto are still transforming into the new Hex Nut Pokémon Meltan in Pokémon GO.
