Tariff dispute leads to more expensive Pokémon TCG cards in Europe, discontinuation of distributions and tournaments in Russia

The ongoing trade dispute between the U.S. and Europe has caused an additional 10 percent duty on a number of products coming from the U.S. and releasing in Europe, including Pokémon trading cards. As a result, The Pokémon Company had to increase the price of Pokémon TCG cards. In Russia, the tariff issue has lead official distribution of Pokémon TCG cards to cease completely and tournaments will be forced out as well.
