The Pokémon Company confirms Pikachu is pronounced PEE-ka-choo

As part of its ongoing efforts to promote the iOS version of Pokémon GO, the Apple App Store asked fans how to correctly pronounce Pikachu. Fans were able to make their choice by participating in a poll on Twitter, which also included a video of Pikachu saying its own name. According to The Pokémon Company and final poll results, Pikachu is officially pronounced PEE-ka-choo.
