Today a new trailer was released that gave us a look at the master trainers in Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee. We learned a few new details about these master trainers in the video, so here is a quick rundown on all that information:
- They are dedicated to training one Pokemon
- They are located all around Kanto
- They have a bubble next to them that contains the sprite of their Pokemon
- You fight them with the same Pokemon in a one on one battle with no items
- The battles shown with Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise had all level 75 Pokemon
- They use unexpected attacks, e.g. Gyarados used an electric attack
- Beating a master trainer will give you their title, which Nurse Joy can refer to you as, e.g Venusaur Master Elaine
