Gem and Event Ticket Purchases Ending for the Pokémon TCG Online. Unspent Gems will be converted to digital booster packs and Trainer Tokens on December 10.
Beginning October 30, 2018, the Pokémon TCG Online is retiring the ability to purchase Event Tickets for use in the game. Gem purchasing, which was limited to Canadian residents, will also end at that time. Players will still be able to redeem Gems for in-game items until December 10, 2018. After that, all unspent Gems will be automatically converted into in-game Pokémon TCG: Sun & Moon—Lost Thunder booster packs and Trainer Tokens.
Event Tickets will still be available via Versus Rewards, so players can continue to participate in tournaments.
