First movie trailer for Pokémon Detective Pikachu has been rated and will reportedly premiere next week

The very first trailer for Pokémon Detective Pikachu has been rated by Alberta Film Ratings. This means that that it will soon be shown off for the first time to the public. Specifically, the debut trailer is expected to premiere ahead of next week’s release of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. Starring Ryan Reynolds as the voice of Pikachu, with Justice Smith, Kathryn Newton, Ken Watanabe, Bill Nighy, Suki Waterhouse and Rita Ora in live-action roles, the film is slated for release in theaters on May 10, 2019.
