There are more than 100 Pokémon spirits in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Spirits are described as game characters with abilities that can give your fighters a boost in battle. Players can equip a fighter with spirits to borrow their special powers. There are two types of spirits. Primary spirits boost your fighter’s physical abilities, while support spirits grant new skills. Detective Pikachu is a support spirit that can be unlocked by scanning the Detective Pikachu amiibo in the Spirit Board of the World of Light adventure mode. As a spirit, Detective Pikachu grants the wielder fog immunity, which conveniently removes fog from the stage.
