The Pokémon Company has revealed that next year’s Pokémon anime movie – officially titled Pokémon the Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution – will premiere in Japan on July 12, 2019. The film was initially announced via a teaser that was shown at the end of Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us. The teaser consisted of a computer-generated sequence in which Mewtwo was shown opening its eyes and heard saying “What is this place? Who am I?” It also featured text that highlighted how “The Legend is Back.”
