The Pokémon Company has revealed that next year’s Pokémon anime movie – officially titled Pokémon the Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution – will premiere in Japan on July 12, 2019. The film was initially announced via a teaser that was shown at the end of Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us. The upcoming movie is being directed by Kunihiko Yuyama and Motonori Sakakibara, while the screenplay is by Takeshi Shudo.
