Game Freak’s Junichi Masuda explains why reaching the Hall of Fame doesn’t take long in Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee

In the official strategy guide for Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee, Game Freak director Junichi Masuda explained why reaching the Hall of Fame doesn’t take as long compared to previous Pokémon RPG titles:

“When you consider how people live in this day and age, I think it’s safe to say everyone’s pretty busy. The way we spend our team is different now from how it was 20 years ago. Thanks to smartphones, you’re constantly bombarded with new information, and it’s natural that you end up thinking you want to play some other games, too. So I felt like perhaps the time you spend on your adventures in these games didn’t need to dominate all your free time. We sped up the walking speed for the player and kept the playtime needed to reach the Hall of Fame on the shorter side. For the people who want to play more, I’d like them to enjoy cuddling their partner Pikachu or Eevee and giving them Berries, having fun with outfits, and building up their bonds with their partner. And after they reach the Hall of Fame, I hope they might also enjoy battling the Master Trainers, who can give you special titles to boast about.”

  1. Please cancel Pokémon Generation 8 as a new player I enjoyed Let’s Go, should continue to revisit regions with variant evolutions or bond evolution concept along with Pokefusions.

  2. Yes since I was blocked from twitter as suspension Pokémon has full right to push the release date of Gen 8 by 2020. The community of Pokémon is as toxic without me because they don’t know I have very few friends and ever since 2013 XY my favorite games everyone started hating on me for supporting the honest good people.

  3. If Tseries keep getting on my nerves I will do let’s play and replace my buddy Verlisfy as the most tricky YouTuber as my best friend I will play Pokémon all Gen so for my 9 year old fans please don’t even give any hints to Pokémon Gen 8 onwards and release Gen 8 by 2022. Take your time on the project every Pokefan can wait games are not as important as love from the community. I don’t even want to be the most subscribed YouTuber, I tricked my 9 year olds by making them believe success is real it’s not failing is good.
