A new Lunar New Year event is now underway in Pokémon GO, featuring increased spawns of rare Pokémon until February 13 at 1 p.m. PT. Featured Pokémon include Spoink, Mankey, Mareep, Ekans, Ponyta, Poochyena, Miltank, Rattata, Electabuzz, Dratini and Buneary. The latest in-game event gives players double XP when capturing or evolving Pokémon, as well as a greater chance to encounter Lucky Pokémon when trading with your friends. Shiny Spoink and Shiny Grumpig have also made their Pokémon GO debuts.
