Official Niantic announcement: Pokémon GO Valentine’s Day Celebration will feature Pokémon that are pink

Niantic has announced a Valentine’s Day 2019 event for Pokémon GO. The event will kick off soon and will feature increased spawns of numerous pink-colored Pokémon. Niantic made this announcement via the latest Pokémon GO newsletter. The initial announcement from the development team is as follows:

Gather up Poké Balls and turn on Adventure Sync—Pokémon GO Valentine’s Day Celebration will feature Pokémon that are pink! Be sure to keep an eye out for more news on this special upcoming event!
