During today’s Nintendo Direct, Nintendo revealed that it will be releasing separate amiibo for Pokémon Trainer, Squirtle and Ivysaur later this year. Each figure will be compatible with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. You may have noticed that Charizard is missing from the bunch, but that’s because its amiibo was already released for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS due to Charizard being a standalone fighter. Nintendo has also announced that a version 3.0.0 update will soon be released for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
