Later this year, Nintendo will be releasing separate amiibo for Pokémon Trainer, Squirtle and Ivysaur – each of which will be compatible with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. You may have noticed that Charizard is missing from the bunch, but that’s because its amiibo was already released for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS due to Charizard being a standalone fighter in those games. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is available now, exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
