The beloved Painter Pokémon, Smeargle, has finally made its Pokémon GO debut. This highly-anticipated Pokémon can now officially be found and caught in the immensely-popular mobile game. In Pokémon GO, Smeargle can be spotted photobombing another Pokémon as you take a picture of it. Smeargle then acquires the moveset of the Pokémon that it photobombed. Based on data provided on its profile, Smeargle requires 9999999 Candy to learn a new attack. There is a new batch of Cameraman badges available as well; take 10 in-game photos to earn Bronze, 50 for Silver and 200 for Gold. According to its official Pokédex entry, Smeargle marks the boundaries of its territory using a body fluid that leaks out from the tip of its tail. Over 5,000 different marks left by this Pokémon have been found. If you spot Smeargle making a surprise appearance in your AR photos, make sure to check your in-game map to see if Smeargle has appeared around you.
