Pokémon Gen 8 game for Nintendo Switch, new starter Pokémon and new region expected for Pokémon Direct on February 27

Nintendo and The Pokémon Company have announced a new Pokémon Direct, set to take place on February 27 at 6 a.m. PT / 2 p.m. GMT. The upcoming presentation will include seven minutes of new information in a livestreamed broadcast for the millions of fans across the globe. According to The Pokémon Company, the Direct will reveal “big news” and surprising announcements. Most fans are expecting to see the long-awaited full Pokémon Gen 8 game for Nintendo Switch. In addition, new starter Pokémon and a brand-new region are also expected to be revealed for the unannounced game.
