The Pokémon Company recently announced the Pokémon Japan Championships 2019, which is exclusive to Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon players in Japan. Registration for this competition is now open until April 19, with battles to follow from April 19 to April 22. All participants who take part in at least three battles will receive a Shiny Tapu Fini as a participation reward, which will become available in May 2019. The Pokémon Japan Championships 2019 is a Double Battle competition that uses standard rules and Ultra Series for 2019 VGC. This means players can use only two restricted Pokémon, while Z-Crystals and Mega Evolutions are both allowed.
