The Pokémon Company has unveiled the next official expansion as part of the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG). The brand-new Sky Legend expansion will first be released in Japan on April 26, 2019, followed by a Western launch in the future for consumers outside of Japan. Sky Legend introduces a new mechanic, where a single Tag Team GX card features three Pokémon; for example, the Legendary bird Pokémon Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres appear and work together. Another new feature comes in the form of Z-Crystal Trainer Cards with GX attacks. These special cards are applicable to only Pokémon that know a specific move. For example, the card in the image above is exclusive to Pokémon that know Tackle.
