The Pokémon Company has unveiled the next official expansion as part of the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG). Available now in Japan, Pokémon TCG: Hidden Fates will be released in the West on August 23, 2019. Hidden Fates introduces a new mechanic, where a single Tag Team GX card features three Pokémon; for example, the Legendary bird Pokémon Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres appear and work together. Another new feature comes in the form of Z-Crystal Trainer Cards with GX attacks. These special cards are applicable to only Pokémon that know a specific move. For example, the card in the image above is exclusive to Pokémon that know Tackle.
