In 2018, The Pokémon Company teamed up with the Kagawa prefecture for a special collaboration featuring Slowpoke. August 10 has officially been named Slowpoke Day. The Pokémon Company International is now recognizing this day by releasing a series of GIFs featuring the iconic Dopey Pokémon:
