PogoKieng is the winner of the first-ever Pokémon GO Invitational at the 2019 Pokémon World Championships

The Pokémon World Championships have always been the home of the most exciting, highest-stakes Pokémon battles, and this year Pokémon GO joins the fray with a special competition. Trainer Battles were on display in the Pokémon GO Invitational on Friday, August 16, which immediately followed the opening ceremonies. All the battles in the first officially streamed Pokémon GO Trainer Battle event were livestreamed at Twitch.tv/Pokemon. Eight competitors battled for Pokémon GO glory, but only one of them managed to come out on top – congratulations to PogoKieng on his well-deserved victory!
