Super Smash Bros. Ultimate managed to come out on top by grabbing the Game of the Year Award, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award, Global Award Japan Category, Best Sales Award and the Award for Excellence in the Japan Game Awards at this year’s Tokyo Game Show (TGS) event. Game director Masahiro Sakurai was on-hand to collect the awards. Meanwhile, Nintendo Labo won the Special Award and Dragon Quest Builders 2 won an Excellence Award.
