Niantic recently announced Legendary Raid Hour events for every Wednesday evening in September and beyond for Pokémon GO players around the world. Read on below for more details:
For one hour every Wednesday evening, Raid Battles with the currently featured Legendary Pokémon will happen more frequently.
Date + Time
From 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in your local time zone on the following dates:
- September 4, 2019: Raikou, Entei, and Suicune
- September 11, 2019: Deoxys
- September 18, 2019: Mewtwo (postponed)
- September 25, 2019: Altered Forme Giratina
- October 8, 2019: Mewtwo (rescheduled)
Features
- There will be an increased number of five-star raids during the event hour.
- Due to issues with the September 18 Raid Hour in New Zealand, Niantic has extended the period until 8 p.m. local time.
- The Mewtwo Raid Hour has been postponed entirely due to “technical difficulties.”
- The make-up Legendary Raid Hour featuring Mewtwo with the move Psystrike will be on October 8, 2019 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.
- On September 25, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in your local time zone: There will be an increased number of five-star raids, featuring Altered Forme Giratina.
