The Pokémon Company has announced the “major world exclusive announcement” during the latest episode of Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon in Japan. A brand-new Pokémon anime series has been announced. It’s simply called Pocket Monsters, a direct reference to when the anime first began back in 1997. The setting takes place in all Pokémon regions to date, from Kanto to Galar. The first teaser trailer consists of all starter Pokémon from every region. Meanwhile, a more in-depth reveal will happen on September 29.
