The Super Smash Bros. Ultimate NA Online Open September 2019 officially took place last month. Four winners headed to Detroit, Michigan, to compete in The Big House 9 event, where Zackray managed to come out on top. Read on below for official details:

Next up in our Online Open Series, Nintendo brings you the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate North American Online Open September 2019 tournament! Back by popular demand, best-of-3 sets, and no items. Battle it out on September 21, 2019 for an opportunity to be one of four finalists, each winning a trip to Detroit, Michigan, including flights, accommodation and entry into The Big House 2019!
The top 4 players will receive a prize package including flights, accommodations, and registration for the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Singles pool at The Big House 9. Download and read the official rules here. Play as much as you want between the hours of 9am-1pm PT! The top 32 players from each region will advance to a single-elimination, best-of-3 bracket. The single-elimination bracket will start at 2pm PT and continue until the 4 winners are determined.
This action packed tournament will have you play in a 4 hour ladder stage. During the time period, you can play as many matches as you want, while a minimum of 8 qualifies you for the leaderboard. At the end of the ladder stage, the top 32 players from each region will advance to a final bracket on the same day. There are no items in this tournament.
