Super Smash Bros. Ultimate NA Online Open November 2019 top entrants receive trip and accommodation to Genesis 7 in California

The Super Smash Bros. Ultimate NA Online Open November 2019 is officially taking place next month. Read on below for official details:

Next up in our Online Open Series, Nintendo brings you the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate North American Online Open November 2019 tournament! This tournament features the popular best-of-3 sets and no items. Battle it out on November 9 – 10, 2019 for an opportunity to be one of four finalists, each eligible to win a trip to Oakland, California, including travel, accommodation and entry to Genesis 7!

PRIZES

The top 4 players are eligible to receive a prize package including travel, accommodations, and registration for the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Singles event at Genesis 7.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

Play as much as you want during the 3 hour ladder round! The top 32 players from each region will advance to a single-elimination, best-of-3 bracket. The single-elimination bracket will start at 3PM PST on 11/9 for Regions 1 – 4, 1PM PST on 11/10 for regions 5 – 8, and will continue until the Top 2 from each region are decided. The Top 2 from each region from each day will then continue onto the double-elimination finals to decide that day’s Top 2 winners.

SELECT YOUR REGION

Register and compete in Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. Ultimate North America Online Open November 2019 tournament. The player experience is optimized by splitting the competition into 8 regions over two days. Please select the region from which you will play. You will be disqualified if you compete in more than one region.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Open to legal residents of the US and Canada who are age 13+, and Mexico who are age 18+, and have access to a Nintendo Switch system, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game, reliable high-speed internet connection, and a Nintendo Switch Online membership. Registration Period begins 10/24/19 and ends 11/9/19 at 10:00AM PT.
