Get going on these Special Research tasks in January, and when you complete them, you’ll have the chance to square off against Giovanni! If you’re able to defeat him, you can try to catch Shadow Moltres. That’s right, Trainers—Giovanni has turned a Legendary Pokémon originally discovered in the Kanto region into a Shadow Pokémon!
