Video: Official trailer for the 13th episode of the new Pokémon Sword and Shield anime on February 16

The latest Pokémon anime series is simply called Pocket Monsters, a direct reference to when the anime first began back in 1997. The setting takes place in all Pokémon regions to date, including Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola, Unova and Galar. Ash and Pikachu have returned and are joined by a new trainer named Go and his partner Scorbunny. The new series officially premiered on November 17, 2019.
