Nintendo has confirmed that the coronavirus outbreak is effecting Nintendo Switch production. The company recently posted an advisory and apology about the effect of the outbreak on Nintendo Switch production, but Nintendo of America has since assured that the virus won’t impact Switch sales in North America and Europe. However, the Nintendo Switch console has sold out at the My Nintendo Store in Japan, including the Minecraft set. Pre-orders for the Animal Crossing: New Horizons set are also delayed. This is due to the coronavirus affecting production in China. The Nintendo Switch Lite is still available at time of posting.
