Pokémon Spotlight Hour is not happening today, February 25, but will return next week for Pokémon GO

Niantic recently revealed Pokémon Spotlight Hour events for Pokémon GO. Read on below for more details:

New experiment: Pokémon Spotlight Hour

The Pokémon GO team is always looking for more ways to improve the gameplay experience.

Pokémon Spotlight Hour features…a surprise Pokémon on a weekly basis!

Onix was appearing more frequently in the wild on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time.
Spoink is appearing more frequently in the wild on Tuesday, February 11, 2020, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time.
Increased Pokémon spawns are appearing more frequently in the wild on Tuesday, February 18, 2020, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time.
Pokémon Spotlight Hour has officially skipped February 25.
