Major Pokémon Center and Pokémon Store locations now closed due to COVID-19 state of emergency in Japan

Pokémon Center and Pokémon Stores throughout Japan are now temporarily closed due to the recently-declared state of emergency from COVID-19. Read on below for a translation of the official announcement:

Pokémon Center and Pokémon Store temporarily closed due to emergency declaration

In response to the government’s Declaration of Emergency, Pokémon Center Co., Ltd. will provide the following Pokémon Center and Pokémon Stores temporarily from Wednesday, April 8 until the emergency declaration is lifted. I will be closed. Similar temporary closures are expected at stores in areas subject to the declaration of emergency (Tokyo, Saitama, Chiba, Kanagawa, Osaka, Hyogo, and Fukuoka). We will update the information on this page as needed. Please note.
