I’m not really happy, I have been a proud Canadian Pokémon fan for as long as I can remember, and a couple months ago, I saw a beautiful trailer that said “Pokémon Journeys, a Netflix Original coming soon”. And I was hyped because Netflix is the only streaming service my family has, because I’m too young to get a credit or debit card, or even get a steady cash flow to even get another streaming service that I can pay for. So I was happy that I was gonna be able to continue Ash’s adventure while he is in the Galar region with my mom.
But as I said, I live in Canada, and I have been checking every week for the day it finally comes to Canada… but it’s been about 5 months, season 1 is done, and there is still nothing.
I don’t even know what streaming service Teletoon is with, but I don’t want to have beg for mother to get another paid subscription to I service I will only really use for one show. Nor do I want to change the country settings on our Netflix just to watch one show (I don’t even know how to do that on mobile or tv anyway).
So I’m just ticked off that Americans get all the glory of getting to watch everything as it comes out, while the other English countries have to wait, season by season, having to avoid spoilers at every corner, suffering by the hands of over-hyping something on the official English Youtube and Instagram channels about something coming on a specific service on a certain day… only to be backstabbed because it’s an American account, and your in a different country
