DeNA addresses the items that have become redundant since the Ver. 1.12.0 update for Pokémon Masters

Pokémon Masters, the latest strategy and battling Pokémon game for mobile platforms, is now available for download on the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android). In celebration of the game’s release, special in-game events and rewards are offered for a limited time.

Regarding Redundant Items

We have received many inquiries regarding items that have become redundant since the Ver. 1.12.0 update.

We regret any inconvenience caused by not providing enough information about these adjustments.

In this notice, we will explain the details of the improvements that we have made, and our future plans.

Daily Vouchers

We regret any convenience caused by these items becoming redundant without prior notice.

These items can no longer be obtained as of the Ver. 1.12.0 update.

In response to this, as of August 10, 2020 at 9:00 p.m., items that were exchangeable with Daily Vouchers before the update will temporarily return to the General Exchange Items menu. The items in the Daily Exchange Items menu will have no exchange limit, and items in the Monthly Exchange Items menu will have an exchange limit.

Note: Items such as Buff Blend that have become redundant with the Ver. 1.12.0 update will not be included.

The Player Character & Pikachu, who were exchangeable in the General Exchange Items menu, will not be included.

Replay Tickets

These items became redundant with the Ver. 1.12.0 update and will no longer be obtainable.

As of the Ver. 1.12.0 update, you can exchange replay tickets for skip tickets in the General Exchange Items menu.

Buff Blends, Tech Tonics, Aid Ades, and Training Machines

These items became redundant with the Ver. 1.12.0 update and will no longer be obtainable.

As of the Ver. 1.12.0 update, you can exchange these items for coins in the General Exchange Items menu, but they can only be exchanged one at a time (up to 99 of each item), which has been causing some inconvenience for players.

In response to this, as of August 10, 2020 at 9:00 p.m., we will make adjustments so that 10 or 1,000 of each item can be exchanged at a time in the General Exchange Items menu.

Sync Orbs for the Player Character & Pikachu

Since the Ver. 1.12.0 update, we have received feedback from some players that because they have already completed the sync grid for the Player Character & Pikachu, earning their sync orbs from Bingo Missions is redundant.

In making this reward adjustment, it was our intention to provide a fun experience with the sync grid for players new to Pokémon Masters by letting them earn and use sync orbs for the Player Character & Pikachu.

However, because players who have completed their sync grid have no use for these items, as of August 10, 2020 at 9:00 p.m., you will be able to exchange sync orbs for the Player Character & Pikachu for co-op sync orbs in the General Exchange Items menu.

Please note that because it is still our intention for these rewards to be used to strengthen the Player Character & Pikachu, the exchange rate will be one sync orb for the Player Character & Pikachu for one co-op sync orb.

We appreciate your understanding.

Once again, we sincerely regret any inconvenience caused.

We hope you continue to enjoy Pokémon Masters.
