The Pokémon Japan Championships 2020 will officially take place later this month. During the official livestream for the event, East Sea Gastrodon based on the one used by the winner of the Pokémon Japan Championships 2019 will be distributed to Pokémon Sword and Shield players. It will be equipped with a competitive moveset that will be revealed at a later date. Fans can tune in to the livestream on Niconico and YouTube starting on August 21 at 6 p.m. PT:
