The Two-Part Weather Alert Event Storms into Pokémon Masters EX

Earn weather survey tickets for this special event, battle Azelf in the Legendary Arena, and scout some returning sync pairs.

The island of Pasio is starting to experience some abnormal weather conditions, which means trouble is on the horizon. From May 5, 2021, at 11:00 p.m. PDT to May 27, 2021, at 10:59 p.m. PDT, you can experience Weather Alert, a new Pokémon Masters EX special event. With the appearance of sudden drizzles and droughts, Pasio’s weather seems out of control. Trista has asked you to investigate, but it sounds like Team Break is trying to take advantage of the chaos.

During this two-part event, players can engage in one battle at the event area per day. Complete the battle, and you’ll earn a weather survey ticket. These tickets can’t be used yet, but keep collecting and saving them—they’re sure to come in handy when the second part of the event begins mid-May.

In addition to all the rough weather, Azelf is returning to the Legendary Arena from May 5, 2021, at 11:00 p.m. PDT to May 19, 2021, at 10:59 p.m. PDT. Remember, Azelf is vulnerable to Bug-type moves, so gather your best sync pairs and get ready for a challenge. Just make sure to check out our strategy guide for maximizing your sync pairs’ potential before taking on this Legendary Pokémon.

A trio of previously available sync pairs will also be returning to the sync pair scout during the event. If you missed your chance to scout the Bug-type sync pair Burgh & Leavanny, the Dark-type sync pair Grimsley & Liepard, or the Electric-type sync pair Elesa & Zebstrika, here’s another opportunity to add them to your team. Burgh & Leavanny and Grimsley & Liepard both have their new 6★ EX upgrades available as well, so they’ll be even more effective teammates in fair or foul weather!

Pokémon Masters EX is available to download now, so don’t miss out on all the fun! For more details, be sure to visit the Pokémon Masters EX official site.
