Nintendo has announced the latest in-game event for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Read on below for more details:
Happy 30th Anniversary, Sonic! (runs from June 25 at 6 a.m. to June 28 at 6 a.m. UTC)
To commemorate the Sonic series’s 30th anniversary, spirits of Sonic characters are speeding their way onto the Spirit Board in this event! Defeat them in battle to earn more gold than usual. The Legend-class Super Sonic, the Ace-class Amy, and the Advanced-class Rouge the Bat and Silver the Hedgehog will also appear at set times. Don’t miss out!
What are spirits?
Game characters with abilities that can give your fighters a boost in battle. Increase your fighter’s abilities by equipping a fighter with spirits to borrow their special powers.
Two types of spirits
Primary spirits boost your fighter’s physical abilities, while support spirits grant new skills. You won’t believe how many different spirits there are!
