Niantic has announced a new event for Pokémon GO. Read on below to learn more:
Pokémon GO’s May Community Day Features Alolan Geodude
Catch an abundance of Alolan Geodude and evolve Alolan Graveler to get an Alolan Golem that knows Rollout.
On Saturday, May 21, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. local time, Alolan Geodude will appear more frequently in the wild for Pokémon GO‘s May Community Day event! If you’re lucky, you might even find a Shiny one. Plus, if you evolve Alolan Graveler (the Evolution of Alolan Geodude) into Alolan Golem during the event or up to two hours afterward, that Alolan Golem will know the Fast Attack Rollout, an attack it can’t normally learn.
May Community Day will also feature additional bonuses. Incense and Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours, and you’ll earn three times as much Stardust and twice as much Candy for catching Pokémon. Plus, you’ll have double the chance of getting Geodude Candy XL when you catch Alolan Geodude. Make sure to take a few snapshots during your Community Day adventures, too—you just might just discover a surprise.
Tickets for an Alolan Geodude Community Day–exclusive Special Research story, A Rocky Road, will be available in the in-game shop for US$1 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). A bundle containing 30 Ultra Balls will also be available in the in-game shop at no cost. Finally, a one-time Community Day box will be available in the in-game shop for 975 PokéCoins, containing one Super Incubator, one Lucky Egg, one Elite Fast TM, and one Star Piece.
