Update 8/4/2022: ExCeL London has confirmed that Worlds Square will be available outside the 2022 Pokémon World Championships and includes various Pokémon-themed activities such as the world premiere of Pokémon: The Arceus Chronicles.
Costumed Pikachu and Roserade Plush Available Exclusively at the 2022 Pokémon World Championships
The Pokémon Center Pop-Up Store plays host to adorable Pokémon decked out in their finest London attire.
As the city of London prepares to host the 2022 Pokémon World Championships from August 18–21, Pokémon fans are preparing for a once-in-a-lifetime shopping experience. The Pokémon Center Pop-Up Store opens August 17 and will be chockablock with products available exclusively at the event, including plush, apparel, and more. Worlds guests will be chuffed to bits to bring home a costumed Pikachu or Roserade plush—or both—as a reminder of the epic battles they saw and the fellow Pokémon fans they met in London.
The Pokémon Center Pop-Up Store will be open at ExCeL London during the following hours:
- 12–7 p.m. Wednesday
- 8 a.m.–6 p.m. Thursday through Saturday
- 8 a.m.–1 p.m. Sunday

The four-day event hosts five individual competitions, as well as plenty of fun activities for spectators.
The 2022 Pokémon World Championships are just around the corner, taking place August 18–21 at the ExCeL London events center. The world’s best Pokémon TCG, Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, Pokémon GO, Pokkén Tournament DX, and Pokémon UNITE players will gather to compete for the prestigious Pokémon World Champion title, more than half a million dollars in prizes, and return invitations for next year’s Worlds competitions. This year, for the first time, Pokémon fans who are planning to shop at the pop-up Pokémon Center at Worlds must schedule a reservation. Tickets to shop will be available starting July 18.
