Daily Adventure Incense, a new type of Incense that attracts Pokémon to you for 15 minutes while you are moving, has arrived in Pokémon GO. To learn more about this feature, please see this article or the Daily Adventure Incense announcement.

Why don’t I have Daily Adventure Incense yet?
Daily Adventure Incense will continue rolling out to players over the next week, try checking back tomorrow or in a few days to see if you have it.
I didn’t receive the Daily Adventure Incense in my Item Bag after completing the first page of the Daily Adventure Incense Special Research
Please restart your Pokémon GO app and check the Item Bag again, this has resolved this issue for all players with this issue. You should also see the Daily Adventure Incense icon on the top right corner of your screen when you have one to use.
I caught 10 Pokémon, but they didn’t count towards the “Use Daily Adventure Incense to help catch 10 Pokémon”
When using the Daily Adventure Incense, make sure you’re catching Pokémon that are attracted to it to complete this task. These Pokémon appear on the Map with a blue swirl and have a small blue incense icon over the Pokémon’s CP on the catch encounter screen.
I used Incense but it did not count for the task “Use 1 Daily Adventure Incense”
Please ensure you are using the blue Daily Adventure Incense to complete this task. You can locate this Incense in your Bag or by tapping on it when it appears on the top right corner of your Map. Using the regular green Incense will not help to complete this task.
Daily Adventure Incense does not seem to be attracting any Pokémon
Movement is the key to attracting Pokémon even while you have Daily Adventure Incense activated! Try exploring around a larger space and you should see begin to appear.
I encountered a Galarian Legendary bird but it fled after the first throw
It’s exciting to hear you were able to encounter a Galarian Legendary Bird in the wild! While these mysterious Pokémon may be attracted to Daily Adventure Incense, they’re pretty tough to catch. You can try using items such as Razz Berries to increase your chance of catching it. Luckily, you’ll get another Daily Adventure Incense tomorrow and maybe you’ll encounter another Galarian Legendary Bird while you’re exploring!

Daily adventure incense continues to have limited utility. There are almost no “rare” spawns, it’s almost 100% whatever is already available in the environment.
Using this almost daily, I’ve seen just 2 galarian birds since July. Both fled after a single attempt. (Daily for the first 3 weeks, but caring less as tine goes on).
This feature somehow makes the game less enjoyable tbh.
Maybe keep the encounter absurdly rare but lower the flee rate to something < 100%, or boost the spawns.
