Nintendo has announced the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U Image Share services will officially be discontinued on October 25, 2022. Read on below to learn more:

Nintendo 3DS and Wii U Image Share Service Discontinuation

Applies to: New Nintendo 3DS, New Nintendo 3DS XL, New Nintendo 2DS XL, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo 3DS XL, Nintendo 2DS, Wii U Deluxe, Wii U Basic

As of October 25, 2022, it will no longer be possible to use the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U Image Share service to post images on Facebook and Twitter.

After the service discontinuation, it will no longer be possible to share images from the Nintendo 3DS family of systems or Wii U consoles.
Images and comments already posted on Facebook and Twitter will remain available even after the service discontinuation.

We thank you for supporting the Image Share service.

The Nintendo 3DS and Wii U Image Share services will be discontinued on 10/25/2022. Thank you for your support of these services.
