Mallow (Palentine’s 2023) & Appletun in Pokémon Masters EX

Mallow partners with the Apple Nectar Pokémon, Appletun, as Pokémon Masters EX’s latest support sync pair.

Who doesn’t love sweets? Mallow is putting her baking skills to the test this Palentine’s alongside her new partner, Appletun. Mallow (Palentine’s 2023) & Appletun are a Dragon-type support sync pair with an emphasis on sweet sustenance. Mallow (Palentine’s 2023) & Appletun can raise the Defense of allied sync pairs by three stat ranks with Order Up! and continually heal their allies while doing damage with Dragon Pulse and Apple Acid thanks to Team Fist Bump 9. If you really need healing, Mallow (Palentine’s 2023) & Appletun have a passive skill that heals all allied sync pairs by approximately 40% of their HP the first time Mallow (Palentine’s 2023) & Appletun use their sync move, Quality Ingredients Dragon Beam!

Mallow (Palentine’s 2023) & Appletun will be available to scout until February 20, 2023, at 9:59 p.m. PST.

Cyrus & Palkia

Mallow (Palentine’s 2023) & Appletun fill the unique niche of a support sync pair that both heals their teammates and lowers their opponent’s Sp. Def, so pair them with partners whose moves drain the user’s HP. Cyrus & Palkia are a powerful Dragon-type sync pair that take damage with each use of New World Order! This move maxes out Cyrus & Palkia’s Sp. Atk and Speed but leaves the pair heavily hurt. Mallow (Palentine’s 2023) & Appletun can reverse that HP loss thanks to Team Fist Bump 9, which heals all allied sync pairs when Mallow (Palentine’s 2023) & Appletun land a successful attack. Apple Acid lowers the Sp. Def of an opponent, setting up Cyrus & Palkia to deal even greater damage. Cyrus & Palkia can be acquired after completing New World Dilemma in the Legendary Adventures section of the main story.

Zinnia & Rayquaza

Zinnia & Rayquaza are as all-out as sync pairs come. Stellar Imagination! raises their Attack and Sp. Atk by two stat ranks and their Speed and Accuracy by one stat rank, but lowers their Defense and Sp. Def by two stat ranks. Mallow (Palentine’s 2023) & Appletun can patch up their Defense with Order Up! and keep the pair healthy with Team Fist Bump 9. Use Apple Acid to drop the Sp. Def of an opposing sync pair, then hit them hard with Zinnia & Rayquaza’s Draco Meteor. Zinnia & Rayquaza can be acquired after completing The Dragon That Rules the Sky in the Legendary Adventures section of the main story.

The featured Sync Pair will be released with their Sync Grid expanded and will have the ability to be raised to 6★ EX in conjunction with this sync pair scout.

Tiered Scout Details

Tiered Scouts are special Sync Pair Scouts that can only be used with Paid Gems.

Each time you scout, you will proceed to the next tier. By using scouts in Tiers 5 and 10, you will receive special tickets to use in the Ticket Scout!
