Pokémon GO Catch Mastery event now underway in the Asia-Pacific region on March 5 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time, Field Research tasks focused on your Poké Ball throwing accuracy now available

Make like a Fighting-type Pokémon and give your skills a stretch during the Catch Mastery event, featuring Hitmontop, Hitmonlee, and Hitmonchan!

Sunday, March 5, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. local time

Wild encounters

The following Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild.

Hitmonlee
Hitmonlee
Hitmonchan
Hitmonchan
If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny one!

Event Bonuses

You’ll have an increased chance of encountering Shiny Hitmonlee, Shiny Hitmonchan, and Shiny Hitmontop.
2× XP for successfully catching Pokémon with Nice Throws, Great Throws, Excellent Throws, and Curveball Throws.

Field Research task encounters

Tasks focused on your Poké Ball throwing accuracy will be available!

The following Pokémon will be available to encounter when you complete Field Research tasks.

If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny one!

Eggs

The following Pokémon will have a chance to hatch from 7 km Eggs collected during this event.

Timed Research

Timed Research focused on your PokéBall throwing accuracy will be available throughout the event!

Complete 10 sets of research tasks to encounter 40 Hitmontop in total!
