For this edition of “FanArt Friday,” we’re lucky to display the art of Constanza, also known as An Ordinary Frög or c.a.cosas. Our featured artist is one of the talented admins of Ilustradoras Unidas and one of the organizers of Pokédex Ilustrada.
For Constanza, Art is how they can transform their worries and negative thoughts into something they like and makes them happy.
“It’s a kind of catharsis,” they said.
“Pokémon is a franchise that I’m very fond of; I associate it a lot with my childhood. It’s also a great source of inspiration. I love the great variety of art on the cards and how the Pokémon are represented with different styles,” Constanza explained.
“It feels amazing to be able to illustrate my favorite Pokémon in situations where I would like to see them interacting. I’d like to imagine I’m playing Pokémon Snap and capturing a postcard.”
When it comes to their favorite Pokémon, Constanza didn’t hesitate to give their answer. “Bulbasaur will always be number one for me.”
